The arm is made of Birdseye Maple. Old wood with a lot of character. The arm is inlayed with four points of Cocobola, 4 Maple points are inlayed in the Cocobola handle. There are 2 checkered rings between the inlays.

The Checkered Board Cue weight is 19oz natural with 245 inlays in butt sleeve. The Arm is birdseye maple over cocobola divided with checkered rings. There are two shafts one 12mm and one 13mm. The 13mm is a Smith standard and is 30 inches long. The 12mm is old wood hard rock maple and is cut smaller and lighter. With the 13mm shaft the cue weights 19.5 oz. and with the 12mm shaft the cue weights 18.7 oz.
